Young designers flaunt their style

Inspired by the festive season, the Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) is organising the ‘India Runway Week 2015’. The fifth edition will see young designers at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in the city over the weekend unleashing their creativity.

The three-day event has a line-up of exhibitions, premier catwalk shows featuring the youngest slot of talented Indian designers. Consisting of three categories namely

Most people know the name of the shops where they bought their clothing. But that's where the knowledge ends. We often have no idea how, where or by whom our fashion was created, and we don't consider where our clothing ends up when our bodies or our aesthetic sensibilities have outgrown it.

With New Zealand Fashion Week in central Auckland 24-30 August, two organisations announced their intentions to change our fashion ignorance. Space Between and Sustainable Fashion began a collaboration to give consumers reliable information on supply chains during and after the event.

Ten years ago, I left my hometown of Hollywood, Calif., and followed the flashy lights to Las Vegas. The city will always hold a dear place in my heart for all of the wonderful memories and experiences it’s given me.

I got married there. I gave birth to both of my children there. I’ve met some of my closest friends there. Five years ago, I combined my love of the city’s glitz and glamour with my passion for fashion and launched my self-titled clothing line Angel Brinks Fashion.

When E!’s “Fashion Police” returns Aug. 31 for the MTV Video Music Awards, Kelly Osbourne says she’ll be rooting for the show to succeed. But there’s one person on the fashion panel who won’t exactly have her support.

“I will never admit to liking Giuliana [Rancic] because I don’t. I don’t think she’s a good person and I think she’s a liar,” Osbourne told TheWrap Saturday night in Los Angeles at the 4th Annual NYX FACE Awards.

You've seen bathing suits with skirts and golf wear with sun-protective sleeves. Now imagine them together.

A new swimwear line called HydroChic offers sporty dresses, and mix and match tops and bottoms in myriad styles and colors. It was started by two Modern-Orthodox Jewish moms from New Rochelle who wanted modest swimwear with sporty style.

“I would say it came out of the modesty thing, says Sara Wolf, who owns the business with Daniella Teutsch. “But we both felt it was inappropriate to walk around some places in a bathing suit.”

Natalie Lowe, four-times Australian dance champion, started dancing aged three in Sydney and represented her country at eight years old. After performing in Australia’s Dancing With the Stars for five years, she toured the world with Burn the Floor. In 2009, she was headhunted to star inStrictly Come Dancing and moved to Britain. Natalie, 34, lives in central London with her partner.

Photos from Diana and Charles's wedding to be auctioned

The set of 12 photographs were taken at the wedding reception in Buckingham Palace on 29 July 1981, which followed the ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral.

Six of the images show the princess with members of her family and the wedding party, including the Queen.

The photos come from the collection of an assistant to the English photographer Patrick Lichfield.

Lord Lichfield, the Queen's first cousin once removed, was the only photographer allowed to take informal images of the royal family and their guests when they returned to Buckingham Palace.

Nancoo - Binkley Wedding

Ansley Lauren Binkley and Christopher Cody Nancoo were married at 6:30 p.m. on June 13, 2015, at Spring Lake in Rockmart.

The bride is the daughter of Alan and Edith Binkley of Silver Creek. The groom is the son of Carla Crummer of Silver Creek.

Dr. Philip May of Rome performed the double-ring ceremony. Bouquets of blush pink roses and foliage adorned the arbor overlooking the lakeside ceremony site. Family pews were marked with mason jars filled with blush pink roses.
