A surprisingly big portion of people with physical handicaps/severe problems look down on those trying to "get out" of their current situation. I know it's kind of the same for say deaf people, but it really surprises me. Everyone keeps telling me it's close, but they think the Office is better.However, IMO the comedy is about the same, but the characters in Parks and Rec are more consistently well written (except for Ann), the cinematography and editing is more well done and professional. The writing has some pretty compelling character arcs. It's concise and says what it needs to say in a short period of time, despite the number of seasons.The first season of Parks wasn't great, but it was decent and I don't think it deserves to be skipped.
