ISP Technicians install, test, boost, maintain, and fix various telecommunications equipment, such as satellite, voice, data, and network, at telecom sites, Carrier POPs, and companies’ facilities, among others. They resolve issues promptly by logging into switches and by following instructions from the networks operation center (NOC) or a senior engineer. These technicians need to see to it that network standards and processes are developed and applied. They will have to submit regular reports to their reporting heads on empty ports. Technicians will need to work flexible hours.
