The royal treatment! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend throw a baby shower for their yet to arrive little princess
Looks like there may be another royal named Hollywood baby on the way.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend celebrated their soon-to-arrive baby girl in New York on Sunday.
While traditionally it is ladies-only at a baby shower, the pair broke with convention so that the 37-year-old signer could attend the special day with his wife.
And this was certainly not your average baby shower, with the couple celebrating in style at high end SoHo jewellery store, Material Good.
The rather unusual venue was not decked out with copious decorations but rather the day's royal theme was introduced with subtle touches including custom made cookies with pale pink and white baby bottles jumpsuits and crowns.
Keeping with the princess theme, both John and his 30-year-old glowing wife wore white crowns.
The paper crowns were adorned with crystals and 'baby mama' for Chrissy and 'baby daddy' for John.
Chrissy - who also added a bindi on her forehead to compliment the crown - posted some Instagram snaps from inside the venue, and one thing is for sure, their little girl is set to be very spoilt.
In one picture in which the model cuddled her beloved dog Pippa, bags upon bags of gifts could be seen in the background.
Until the baby arrives the cute little French Bulldog remains the apple of her human mom's eye and so was brought along to the show to party too.
Chrissy was seen heading to her event carrying the Frenchie through the streets of New York.
Pippa, as the pup is called, is clearly used to be treated like a princess and flopped comfortable in her owner's arms.
Despite being rather front heavy - thanks to the pooch and her bump - the model not only kept her balance, she did so in nude coloured Stuart Weitzman Nudist heels.
But clearly this Sports Illustrated star is not one to curtail her style to confirm with the normal maternity wear standards as her outfit of the day proved.
The 30-year-old wowed in a white and gold ensemble which featured a tight white Lycra dressed which hugged her curves and bump perfectly.
Giving the look a dramatic fashion edge, the star then added a gold Stella McCartney trench with a white horse print.
The trench flew behind the star as she strutted along the pavement, especially after she popped Pippa down and she stepped up her pace.
Chrissy wore her hair tied back with two braids running along the side of her head where they were fastened into a ponytail from which her ombre locks exploded into a voluminous stylish mess.
The model and her husband do not have long until they meet the newest member of their family, as Chrissy is due around mid-April.
The celebrity couple are getting ready to welcome a baby girl after picking the gender of their first child during the IVF process.
They announced they were becoming parents after trying for a long time in an Instagram post last November.
While they have revealed the sex of the baby they have yet to confirm the baby's name which seems like to have a royal spin to it including Kingsley and Reign.
Chrissy told Late Show host Stephen Colbert that John had said her top pick was 'too Hollywood' so she asked, as you do, President Obama for advice.
'I asked Barack - we’re, like, very first-name basis. I asked President Obama if he liked one of our name choices and he said he did.
'But then I realized I should have came up with two, so he could pick one.'
