The working principle of a JetHose Water Nozzle is based on fluid pressure control and flow restriction.

When water flows through a hose under pressure, the nozzle restricts and reshapes the flow. By narrowing the outlet opening, the water pressure increases, creating a powerful jet stream. When the opening is widened, the pressure decreases, resulting in a softer spray.

The user controls this system using the trigger and adjustment dial. In advanced models, internal turbulence chambers help mix air and water to create different spray textures.
