Incoloy 825 Plate also resists corrosion cracking and pitting due to chloride stress corrosion. As a result of the presence of titanium, the alloy is quite resistant to sensitization. When the alloy is exposed to a temperature range that would sensitize unstable stainless steel, the Incoloy 825 products show excellent resistance to intergranular attacks when getting exposed there.
