In how many days do we get a certificate of registration in a partnership firm?

From drafting of Partnership deed to its registration, whole process may take more than 12 – 15 days. As the registration process differs from State to State, we cannot provide exact period but this is the tentative time consumed.

For registration of Partnership Firm, an application with the prescribed fees is submitted to the Registrar of Firms (RoF) of the concerned State in which the partnership is formed.

The following documents are also required to be submitted along with the application:-

• Application for Registration of Partnership in Form No. 1

• Affidavit by partners

• Certified True Copy of the Partnership Deed

• Ownership proof of the principal place of business or rental/lease agreement thereof.
