Season 14 gives Pandemonium Fragments a much bigger job than a rare extra reward. They're the material that turns a good Unique into a Mythic through the Horadric Cube, so every Fragment has real weight. If you're already collecting Diablo 4 Items for a build, it pays to think ahead before spending them. The best route isn't one endless activity. It's a loop: earn seasonal reputation, gather Superior Lair Keys, then use those keys in focused Corrupted Reaper runs.
Start with reputation, not the boss
A lot of players rush straight toward Corrupted Reaper, then hit a wall when their key supply dries up. Don't do that. Begin with the seasonal board and take part in Ruptures while you're building your character. Surging and Colossal Ruptures are worth your time when they're up, especially if your clear speed is decent. You'll pick up reputation, seasonal materials, and progress toward the activities that feed the rest of the route. The repeatable Glints of Hope reward matters here too. Since the July update, it gives one Fragment every time, which takes some pressure off boss drops.
Use Deathtoll Chambers to build your key stock
Realmwalker encounters lead into Deathtoll Chambers, and that's where the route starts to feel more controlled. Your main goal inside isn't just clearing the room and moving on. You're there for Superior Lair Keys. At higher Torment settings, a chamber now provides at least one of them, making each run far less wasteful than it used to feel. Run enough Chambers to build a small stack before you switch activities. A few keys can disappear fast, particularly if the boss is giving you the drops you came for and you want to keep going.
Choose the Torment level you can repeat
Corrupted Reaper is the main Fragment target once your build is ready. It can award up to two Fragments, with better returns at stronger Torment levels, alongside a shot at valuable Mythic loot. Still, the top difficulty isn't always the smart pick. If every run turns into a long fight with several deaths, step down. A smoother clear at a slightly lower setting usually wins over an hour of frustrating attempts. You'll notice the difference quickly: more completed runs, steadier key use, and fewer breaks to repair or rethink your setup.
Spend four Fragments with a purpose
The Cube recipe now costs four Fragments rather than five, but that doesn't mean you should craft the moment you reach four. Look at your build first. Pick the slot where a Mythic result would change how the character plays, not merely raise a number on the sheet. Slots with fewer possible outcomes are often safer choices. Keep farming reputation and boss sessions until that decision is clear. When you need to fill gaps between Reaper runs, it can also help to buy Diablo 4 materials for the wider progression plan, then return to the loop with a proper target in mind.
At U4GM, Diablo 4 Season 14 planning feels a bit less grindy. Check https://www.u4gm.com/diablo-4/items for useful item options, then head back into Ruptures, build up Superior Lair Keys, and make those Corrupted Reaper runs count. Good prep makes every Pandemonium Fragment feel earned.
