What are Bolts?
A bolt is a type of threaded fastener with an exterior male thread that requires a nut with a corresponding pre-formed female thread. A mechanical fastener having a threaded shaft is called a bolt. Bolts and screws are both mechanical fasteners having threaded shafts that are closely related to one another. These fasteners are normally put through two pieces that have holes that are lined up.

A bolt is a type of threaded hardware fastener that is used to position two workpieces in specific relation to each other. the terms “bolt" and "screw" were often used, therefore they are frequently used interchangeably.
