A
digital signature is a person’s electronic digital print. It allows you to sign
a document digitally. Digital signature is an essential requirement for
companies interested to take part in the e-procurement process of various
government organizations in India such as ONGC India tenders, CPWD tenders etc.
There
are many benefits of obtaining a DSC or Digital Signature Certificate. Apart
from enabling you to participate in e tendering, it also secures your online
transactions, increases productivity of the team, saves time and money,
improves customer experience and helps to save the environment.
Importance of DSC in e-tendering
Most
government organizations in India are resorting to e procurement as it is
transparent, reduces corruption and is quicker than the traditional procurement
process. Moreover, e procurement improves the reach of the tender invitation
and allows the organization to receive competitive bids from all the eligible
vendors.
If
you are interested to apply for the government of India tenders such as the ONGC
tenders, MWC tenders and so on, obtaining a class 3 digital certificate is
compulsory. The certificate should be obtained in the name of person authorized
to submit the online bids for e tender invitations.
