North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) is situated in Nirjuli, Itanagar. The Institute’s motto, The Confluence, the Region of Eight States, shows the absolute resolve of the Institute to educate not only its own state but also the states surrounding it. Though the Institute, once a stalwart, is now not so due to the rise of many more universities and colleges. Moreover, the Institute, presently a deemed university, now has major facilities available in its green campus.
