I've never been for any other Blizzard game

Let me know what I'm going to declare. As we sit here, we are getting ready for our D2R Items League Finals, which has really been created by a group of the staff at Activision Blizzard, and the goal they have for it is the same as the desires we have that is to see our games exposed to and used by millions of players across the globe.

I believe that there are many methods of thinking about the best way to achieve this final goal, but our goals are very similar, and closely aligned to them.

The issue from a fans from a fan's perspective is if there's any point at which it looks like Diablo League can't sustain the level of excitement it requires, does Activision suddenly decide "Well it's time to bring us another thing in the near future," and that's where the clash of ideas could take place, and it's like,"Well we're working in an environment where you may not see another Diablo for an additional decade." Are you in a position in which you make the decisions on your games and don't get told how to develop these games, or be required to create the games in a different manner to satisfy demands.

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I think that's the way that Blizzard has always worked. the bottom up approach on the kind of games we want to create and progress towards are and that's what's most important. It's so ingrained and built in to the very nature of Blizzard I'm not sure how Blizzard is successful any other way.

I'm sure you're thinking the development team was appointed to lead the company following Mike was promoted, and the fact that we elevated Ray Gresko to be the chief development officer is a testament to exactly what Blizzard is about, but is also a sign that Activision Blizzard understands what's important to Blizzard.

I am a huge fan of Diablo and have been in love with it in ways I've never been for any other Blizzard game. And I'm sure the same is true with other games. The idea of creating new IP is clearly working for you, but you are able to offer classic games that players are looking for more of. Like StarCraft and Diablo. What's your take on creating new and innovative games, or relying on the old? Do you plan to look into the older games as you did with a wild classic , or do you see a future for StarCraft and as well as whatever may come next?

You know, I think we're blessed to have four major IPs, which include WarCraft, StarCraft, cheap d2r items. Also, there's Heroes which is a sort of a subset of an amalgamation of all of the kinds of borrowings from all the components of the IPs.
