Best red carpet looks you missed at Venice film fest

The A-list style and fashion has descended upon Venice, and us, as the annual Venice film festival takes over the fashion month - September.

A bevy of Hollywood beauties and many more international stars were in attendance at various movie premieres at the fest which commenced on Sept.2 and will continue to treat us until Sept. 12.

From Elizabeth Banks's return to the red carpet to Dakota Johnson's brand new haircut, we were treated to some of the most stunning red carpet moments (critics even say it's much better than Cannes'). Who knew Diane Kruger and Elizabeth Banks together would make for the most beautiful fashion moment in their respective white Prada gown and statuesque Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Needless to say the stars are bringing out their A-game to the red carpet and here's a detailed look at what everyone from Dakota Johnson to Kristen Stewart has worn to the 2015 Venice film festival so far.

Elizabeth Banks in Elie Saab, Andrew Gn and Dolce & Gabbana

If there was anyone who nailed the red carpet, it's her. Banks' fashion game was on point. Apart from the fact that it was her return to the red carpet, Banks stole every red carpet appearance. From the dreamy floral Elie Saab dress and the heavy floral pleated Andrew Gn gown to the stunning white Dolce Gabbana and another floral mini-dress from the same designer house, Elizabeth Banks nailed each and every look.

Kristen Stewart in Chanel & Chanel Couture

KStew, as her fans call her, played her duty-card well to perfection as she channeled both of her Venice appearance in Chanel. Being Chanel's muse is no ordinary responsibility. Stewart gave us a tomboy in her first appearance where she donned a Chanel quilted black top and matching shorts and paired it with a Chanel 'Boyfriend' watch and a sexy black pumps. While for the "Equals" premiere, the Twilight actress stunned everybody in a sparkling, grey lace and silk embroidered dress from Chanel's Fall 2015 Couture collection. And it was MAGICAL and not quite sure is Kristen looked this enchanting. Ever

Diane Kruger in Prada, Cushnie et Ochs, BOSS and Preen

Can't help but obsess over the white Prada gown Diane wore to the opening ceremony of the Venice film festival. It set the tone right for the red carpet. From the beaded, high neckline to the elegant cutouts and that dramatic, embellished cape, this Prada gown was just red carpet perfection. While her other looks - the Cushnie et Ochs red jumpsuit was minimalistic but very mod edge, her BOSS ensemble was sleek, chic, modern at the best. The velvet fabric was quite intimidating but fit to nearby-perfection, so was the train but at the same time the train added the Hollywood gracefulness to the look and that floral look from Preen, fun and chic, Diane made the Chelsea boot and sock combo work in her favour.

Dakota Johnson in Valentino, Prada, Marc Jacobs and Rodarte

Dakota debuted a brand new hair look and we can't stop gushing over her red carpet looks. While the actress showed sophistication in the mystique black Victorian-era Valentino dress, she was, literally, windswept in a pretty pink Prada gown. On the other hand her Rodarte frock look featuring big blooms gave us some serious summer-to-fall style inspiration

Paz Vega in Salvatore Ferragamo and Ralph & Russo Couture Paz Vega was the third celebrity to give us the floral look at the fest, following Elizabeth Banks and Diane Kruger. The stylish Salvatore Ferragamo dress from the Resort 2016 collection oozes vintage vibe. Regal and elegant, is what best describes this Ralph & Russo Couture halter gown. The glass bead and pearl embellishments were simply stunning.

Elisa Sednaoui in Armani Prive

Elisa Sednaoui attended the 'Everest' premiere in a simple, classic silhouette from Armani Prive, looking resplendent. She enhanced her look with a selection of jewels from Buccellati.

Kasia Smutniak in Valentino

This sculptured Valentino gown from the Fall 2015 collection was (and still is) a head-turner. An artistic piece of layered bronzed-laced flutter panels with a sculptural neckline, this Valentino mastermind is not an easy silhouette to wear, but the actress wore it with the sophistication and grace.

Fiammetta Cicogna in Alberta Ferretti

This Alberta Ferretti gown was the talk of the town. The ornate, museum-quality print couldn't get a better treatment than this. The loose waves and barely-there makeup made up for a fresh, youthful tone for the Italian actress.

Amber Heard in Stella McCartney, Zimmermann & Alexander McQueen

The actress was simply easy and elegant in her red carpet appearance, except for the black Stella McCartney ensemble which was simply sexy and classic Hollywood.Read more at:www.marieprom.co.uk/graduation-dresses | www.marieprom.co.uk/celebrity-dresses-red-carpet-dresses
