I don't even know why anyone would drop old SoF now post nerf you can just stomp it. You can do it without using any dragon killers. It was easy before it's just a pointlessly stomp now. Chrysalis is the same there isn't much to it if you do the couple of mechanics right you win. Weird that people are in a position that they prefer 30 minutes wait to doing the instance.

I admit to losing my patience over this FFXIV Gil fight just last night because of one player. The one DPS insisted on adds being named in order when it literally does not matter but the first one just means it's easier for DPS that do not pay attention (it was already marked). INSISTED on needing the name and order when multiple people said "B-something" or "it doesn't matter just hit them as hard and as fast as you can."
Already knew we were going to need LB even without this guy dying to every aoe even though he said he'd done it about 10 times (and not listening to people who have cleared it).

I don't think he'd ever made it to the last phase because most of the time (if he wasn't being picked up by our healers) he was jumping around -not hitting Nidhogg-. As in, when all of us stacked for Akh Morn calling "stack" right next to him, I can watch him move AWAY from the stack and jump up and down not even hitting Nidhogg.

Multiple times. After being told to stack. Multiple times. Right next to him. As if the group of players (including the MT) were just grouped up there for no reason getting blasted while he stood to the side jumping up and down "what do??? do I attack nidhogg????111"

In my experience, people will usually Final Fantasy XIV Gil leave after 2-3 attempts. If it looks bad even with a melee lb used after 3 attempts (giving people time to adjust to the aoe mechanics), I've approved the vote abandon. No reason not to give people a chance until it looks like there's no point with too many subpar DPS.

I see that from time to time whenever I draw it via Trials/Mentor Roulette. The fight really isn't that hard. Honestly, the two spots that trip most people up is the stacking attack in phase 3 lasting for more than 1 hit and the DPS check (which if you're not a lazy DPS, it's not that bad). I don't understand why this and Crystalis (which isn't too bad either) get some much angst.

Now Thornmarch or Thordan EX on the other hand...
