On the website to preorder it says that if you get the next gen mamba you are going to get the present gen regular. I get that nice but it says when I get physical next gen, that is where the code is going to be for the current gen. So wtf is the point of growing mamba second gen if at the time that comes out that I will not need the current gen code.On 2K's website it states they send you a physical copy of PS5 mamba variant with a code inside for your typical ps4 edition, that should get to us around the launch of 2K21 so we will just be hanging onto the deluxe until the consoles come out. You are correct the physical backup you need to wait for the PS5 though you can play with with the gen if you purchase the digital to come outside.
Are the bonus VC recorded separately for the present gen but not in the next gen? When the standard release for those that are currently receiving the gen Mamba and will the current gen game come as download? If not and it's coming out with the next gen game, what is the point? There's two bonuses for current-gen, only one for next-gen. When you buy NBA 2K21 Mamba Forever Edition on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X digitally, a copy of this current-gen variant of NBA 2K21 will be added into the same PlayStation or Xbox account. It will be playable on your individual PlayStation 4 or Xbox One console once NBA 2K21 has established on September 4.
Do the bonuses stack? Given the VC wallet is supposed to transfer between both consoles, will the VC of these current-gen be transferred into the match along with the bonus? So when I purchased for purchasing the Mamba that the Mamba vs the 100k VC that I would essentially have 200k VC? That is just for if it is purchased by me. Imagine if my intentions are to buy a copy of the Mamba edition? Will I never get the version until NBA 2K has been released? And if so, is 2K forcing me to purchase the version that is current-gen if want it physically and I want to both play both on launch day?
According 2K, it will move to. But not if you invest it of course. Correct, for orders that the bonus backup is a code inside the box. If you would like to play both generations at launch and need a physical copy, the CG MFE is your best alternative. Thank you for the information. As a followup question, I only wanted to ask whether there are some perks to getting the next-gen Mamba version? For your current-gen, I receive the two matches on release day, and an excess VC. For the next-gen, I have to wait until the latter's release to get both games (making me wonder if I'd even play with the current-gen variant if the next-gen variant is currently in my hands).
