I mean, clearly anything said by anyone who doesn't feel the same way you do is going to go way over your head. That much is clear from every single comment you've posted in this thread.
The fact is, it was labelled as casual content even before it was released (at least, the first 50 floors). Not everyone has a high level weapon yet. Not everyone does EX primals. This offers a weapon upgrade for them.
Plenty of people will have fun running it, regardless of that fact that you subjectively do not like it. So, keep telling yourself that your opinion is fact if it helps you get through the day.
He does have a point, FATEs were run by many in ARR not cos it was good content but because it was fastest way to level, whenever they didn't shoehorn us into them they were dead, how many people do you see doing fates in HW?
In which case he is correct just because people were doing fates doesn't mean it was fun or good content.
I have lots of fellow friends that are sprouts/ lower level that run FATES for fun.
Call em crazy, but people enjoy them. I do not. Also, there's a grinding aspect in any mmo. I get your point. But it's a grey area. We're now comparing fates to deep dungeon. They're pretty different.
We'll have to see what the +150 floors brings Buy FFXIV Gil us. At least now SE can take in some criticism to build off of, which I think is a smart idea. They could have launched all 200 floors and be Ez pz. We will see.
I'm curious, do you already have all your DoW/DoM jobs to level 60? I'm seeing this as a great thing for alternative ways to level up, with the added bonus of building up a stable of 235 weapons. I've only got 1 60 though, so lots of opportunity. Wondering if everyone, yourself, included, saying its pointless have no need for the new method of leveling.
Ok so I was right, you consider anything that you don't personally need as useless and shouldn't even be added.
You do understand that most people don't have all jobs at 60, aren't doing high end raiding, and so on? Not to mention that there are always new players, and this gives them a great new piece of content to do.
Maybe you should just go back to lording it around with...whatever the hell your amazing RELEVANT GEAR is and go away.
No challenge and irrelevant rewards seems like a way you could describe nearly all of the pre-60, savage raid level content. PotD seems like a nice change of pace for those of us still leveling stuff up than getting stuck doing Satasha for the 500th time.
