TM is a symbol that indicates that an application for the trademark is filed with the trademark registry. A company or an individual who has filed for trademark but yet hasn’t got the final registration approval usually uses TM sign to indicate that the trademark is in the process of getting registered.

R symbol is basically used beside a logo/the trademark when the registration process is complete and the owner has successfully got the mark registered with the appropriate registry.

The copyright symbol is used when an original creative word is secured under the copyright law. It is used for claiming exclusive rights over original artistic or literary works. The copyright symbol indicates that its owner holds the exclusive legal right to make copies of a work and exploit them for profit.
