1. Put the toy in a sink filled with warm water and antibacterial soap (make sure you're using a soap that is safe for both human skin and silicone or rubber). Let it soak for a few minutes, then use a soft brush or cloth to scrub away any dirt. Rinse thoroughly under running water, making sure to keep the holes free of soap so water can flow through them freely.
2. If your toy has removable parts, take those off and wash them separately in warm soapy water. If there are no removable parts, just rinse off the main body thoroughly under running water until all the soap is gone (if you're unsure if there's any left behind, wipe down the surface with a clean towel).
3. Let the toy dry completely before storing it away somewhere out of direct sunlight and away from lint or dust bunnies that might cling to it when wet (you know what we mean).
