Tempo Storm through to semi-final

Tempo Storm are the first team through to the semi-final at the CEVO Gfinity Professional Season 9 finals as they were able to defeat dignitas (Mirage 16-12, Cobblestone 12-16, Cache 16-14) and win group B.

Already in the map picks and bans phase, the analysts Duncan "Thorin" Shields and Richard Lewis echoed each other stating that dignitas was the favorite CSGO Skins to win the match taking into consideration the maps chosen.

However, Tempo Storm had a plan of their own going up 6-1 before the Danes were able to tie up the match at six a piece. At this point, Ricardo "boltz" Prass was able to clutch a 1vs2 to not only take the lead once again, but also to win the first half 9-6 on the CT side.

It was more of the same in the second half as the Brazilian team was able to win the pistol round and the subsequent three rounds after that. Luckily for dignitas, Jesper "tenzki" Plougmann was able to win a huge 1vs3 situation to bring the Danes back. Tempo Storm actually ended up taking a tactical pause as Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen and co. edged closer and closer.

The pause ended up making the entire difference as the Brazilians from Tempo Storm were able to run away with the map to end it 16-12.

Tempo Storm's map choice started out with both teams trading rounds back and forth. This trend would continue throughout the half but in the end it was the young Brazilian team who won the half ever so slightly off the back of Henrique "hen1" Teles's great AWP CSGOdog play.

The second half took a different turn as it ended up being the Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel show as we saw some great multi-kill rounds from the Norwegian. dignitas would go on a 9-4 streak in the second half to end the series, winning on Cobblestone 16-12.
