Amid an Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be accessed once players have completed the Desert Treasure quest and a mini-quest to unlock an access point called the Frozen Door OSRS Gold. The access point that is iced up has been in existence since the Dungeon was first opened, but it has been locked up, to this point! In the Prison the players have to slay through a huge army (featuring Spiritual Warriors, Mages, Rangers, and Blood Reavers) before reaching Nex herself.
In the end, defeating Nex can earn players benefits, such as an Ancient Godsword, Zaryte crossbow and the renowned Torva armor set, and much more. Everyone who participates in the battle has a chance of obtaining the item of their choice which is a bonus for the most successful players, with the highest performers receiving more rewards.
The recommended level requirements to be able to play Nex are: 70 Ranged, 70 Strength, 70 Agility 70 Hitpoints. Players are currently unable to play Monster Examine on Nex. If players attempt to cast the spell there will be a message on the game's chat screen that reads "You aren't able to find the statistics of their character".
The Fifth General is expected to also appear in the coming Shattered Relics League, which debuts in RSC on the 19th of January, and will run through March 2, after being delayed until 2021.
