RAS Preliminary examination

RAS Preliminary examination is the first tier that needs to be crack out for giving mains exam. According to RPSC, it is important for an applicant to first apply for RAS Prelims. The pattern of RAS Prelims question paper is of objective type which contains 200 marks. This examination is kind of screening test, after which students will appear for mains examination. The exam paper carries 150 questions of objective type which are divided into equal weight age. There is negative marking as well where 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The main topics that will be covered in prelims are history, art, culture, literature of Rajasthan, Indian History, geography of world, India and Rajasthan, Indian Constitution, political system, administrative system, economic concepts, science-tech, reasoning, mental ability, and current affairs. According to Target Civil, students are required to thoroughly review these topics so as to pass the exam and get appear for next tier of RAS examination.
