Pittsburgh Bae Ji-hwan leaves for the United States on the 11th Preparing for the new season begins

The day before departure, we plan to visit a facility for single mothers and make a donation.

Pittsburgh Pirates Bae Ji-hwan (24) heads to the United States to prepare for the 2024 season.

Now I One Management, Bae Ji-hwan's agency, announced on the 9th, "Bae Ji-hwan will depart for the United States through Incheon International Airport on the 11th."

Bae Ji-hwan, who returned to Korea in October last year and spent about three months in Korea, has been training steadily at the Dream Sports Academy in Busan. He also spent meaningful time visiting the Buk-gu B Little Baseball Team and donating his talent.

On the 10th, the day before departure, we plan to visit Aeranwon, a living facility for single mothers where we donated early last year, to deliver goods and donations.

Bae Ji-hwan, who graduated from Gyeongbuk High School and immediately moved to the United States, went through the minor league and debuted in the big league in 2022, playing 10 games. Last season, he played in 111 games and had a batting average of 0.231, 2 home runs, 32 RBI, and 24 stolen bases.

Bae Ji-hwan, who has established himself as a decent big leaguer, plans to leave for the United States about a month earlier than last year and begin preparations for the new season in earnest. 스포츠토토맨
