Bells, guy. These money bags monitor our gameplay and have been the key mechanic of the Animal Crossing series from the beginning. Bells are required to move the story, enlarge the home, purchase clothes and furniture. Much as in real life, the bells run almost all. So, what's the right way to farm it? There are a few ways to grind the bells and get rich fast.
An easy way to make bells is to craft one of the new mechanics to New Horizons! The fruit is one of the first things you will sell when you launch. Your island will have one form of native fruit out of the five different fruits available in the game. They're a good starting item to sell. Native fruit just nets you 100 bells of fruit. Not poor, just not the best. One of the elusive islands you will discover by using the Nook Miles Tickets will have the fruit of your sister. It's a non-native fruit on your home island that's open to you if you're on island-hop and you have plenty of Nook Miles. Your safest course of action is to fill your pockets with the fruit of your sister, bring it back to your home island, and plant the whole orchard. Every non-native fruit is sold for 500 bells. It doesn't sound like a lot at first, but if you shake lots of trees to harvest fruit, you'll get 200,000 bells out of a double pocket of non-native fruit. That's your second house loan that's absolutely paid off with the fruit you've grown yourself. When you're on the enigmatic island, make sure you have some coconuts. They're only selling 250 bells each, but it's worth your time if you have extra pocket space. You're going to get your fourth form of fruit from your mom in your mailbox. She's just going to give you one, so you're going to have to waste your time planting, rising, and planting again to make it worth your time. This type of fruit is often called non-native and will be sold for 500 bells per fruit.
Pumpkins, which are berries, are available to buy from Nook's Cranny during October, or Leif during the rest of the year. Pumpkins will initially take four days to mature, like trees, and then, after first harvesting the fruit, the plants will produce additional fruit in three days, again, much like the fruit trees. They come in four different colors, but no matter the color, each pumpkin sells 350 bells. Not as strong as non-native fruit, but it needs just one square of space to expand, while fruit trees need one square for the tree and an empty square around the tree. Long story short, it's certainly worth your time to expand and water.
Another tree that will send you a lot of bells is the tree of wealth. Every day, a dot of gold shines on the ground. If you dig it up with your hammer, your character's going to get 1,000 bells. After you dig up your gold, the hole is going to shine like mad. It's just asking you to bury your money. So you need to give up. When you do so, the cash tree will continue to expand in its place. Then you can dig them up and move them to a new place. It makes it easy for you to find your money later. Money trees are a good way to triple the money in four days. If you've got 10,000 balls to spare, plant 10,000 bells. If you've got less than that left to dump into the ground, just plant 100 bells.
Separately, there's a possibility to get 100 bells from regular trees across your island as you shake them. It takes a lot of time, but if you're hunting for resources, the bells will pop out and surprise you. You'll find huge rocks when you're racing around your island. You will reach them to create resources. But one is going to send you money every day. Successfully striking the rock 8 times would cause 16,100 bells to pop out. Each time you strike a rock with your shovel, your character will be pushed backward, gradually far enough that you will no longer be able to reach the rock. The best tactic is to dig two holes behind your character to render you diagonal to the rock. Then start mashing the A button quickly and hoping for the best. Mash is too slow, and the rock ceases making objects, which is when the large bags of bells appear. It could take a few attempts, but once you have the hang of it, you'll be able to get all 16,100 bells out of the cash rock every day. If you're using a few Nook Miles tokens, you could find yourself stumbled across the island of rock money. This island is made up of 6 rocks, all of which are like the unique money rock on your home island. Each rock net will send you a complete 16,100 if you mash A successfully. There's just a 5 percent chance of discovering this island as Mystery Island jumps, so try not to focus on it. So it's a smart thing to be conscious that if you do so, it happens.
All the fossils can be donated to the museum, but whether you donated them or are not interested in finishing the museum, it's worth your time to buy and sell. Four fossils seem to be buried every day on your island. Dig them, get them measured, and head on over to Nook's Cranny to sell these apparently invaluable ancient bones to two children who know just what to do with museum-quality objects.
Fish, bugs, and marine animals are evolving with the time of year and the time of day. Keep an eye out for the unusual. Any fish can be sold for up to 15,000 bells. This is a pretty good fishing ride. They're hard to find, of course, but a pocketful of common fish can still be worth a fair price. The glitches are very close to the most expensive ones coming in at 12,000 bells. Buy yourself a wetsuit and get a swim to find the sea monsters. You will reach the 15,000 bell level again. If you're all done with your regular cash tree, money rock, and you're selling all your fruit, fishing, bug catching, and diving is your way to make more bells all day. And you can use manila clams to make bait and capture fish easier! Throw it straight in the water without having to check the sea for the next catch!
Turnips are going to make you a lot of money. If you're lucky, and Timmy and Tommy are sweet to you, anyway. You can buy turnips every Sunday morning from 5 a.m. to noon. The selling price varies every week but ranges from 90 to 110 bells. Sell rates, please. Yeah, they can be anywhere from less than you've charged, up to 600 percent of what you've paid for your turnips for the week. And where friends of Animal Crossing will help out a lot. Each island would have one of four patterns: big spike, small spike, fluctuating, and diminishing. A big jump is a trend that everybody wants; it's when the markets are good. You should render bell buckets.
