How to choose a fittings?

To choose the Inconel 625 Tube correctly you must know the types of unions that exist, and which one solves the connection problem.

But also, you should consider other aspects such as the type of material, the size and the way to screw or assemble it.

Material

PVC sanitary: they are gray or white, and are used for the connections of the Inconel 625 Pipe that transport the liquids of the drain or sanitary. Adhesives need to be used for their joints. You can see more information in the Sanitary PVC Pipes Guide

PVC pressure or hydraulic: they are blue or green (irrigation), and are used to transport cold water in drinking water and irrigation installations. The Inconel 625 Flanges joints are made with a specific adhesive for this material. You can see more information in the PVC Hydraulic Pipes Guide.

Material

CPVC or Chlorinated Vinyl Polychloride: they are white in color and Inconel 625 Round Bar are used to transport hot or cold water in household drinking water facilities. Inside they can have a bronze thread to join with existing copper systems, or smooth to join with a specific adhesive. You can see more information in the CPVC Pipes Guide.

Threaded polypropylene: Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings are white or gray in color, and are used to transport hot and cold water. They have a threaded or threaded joint system that allows fast and secure connections, without glue or solder. You can see more information in the threaded polypropylene pipes guide.

Polyethylene or plansa: they are black in color, and are used for irrigation installations.

PPR or Polyethylene Random: they are green or white, and Inconel 625 Plate is used to transpote hot or cold water. Their unions are fused by means of heat. You can see more information in the Random Polyethylene Pipes Guide.

Copper: Inconel 600 Pipe is used to transport cold and hot water, gas or steam in residential or industrial installations. For its union, torch welding must be used. You can see more information in the Copper Pipes Guide.

Measure

Fittings, like Inconel 600 Tube, have a measurement that corresponds to their diameter, and that must coincide with the diameter of the pipe where they will be connected. It can be measured in inches or millimeters.

There are fittings that use Inconel 600 Flanges that have more than one measure, since they serve to connect pipes of different diameters, for example a Tee or reduction, among other cases.

Thread

In cases where the fittings are screwable, Inconel 600 Round Bar must be fixed in the place where it has the thread, since there is an external thread (HE) and an internal thread (HI). If the pipe is HE, the fittings must be HI, or vice versa, in order to screw the two pieces together.

Couplets

Intended to interconnect two pipes of the Inconel 600 Pipe Fittings of same or different diameter, linearly. They have the thread inside. They are joined by welding, mechanical tightening or adhesive.
