Yeah, another issue is that it is unclear who exactly would do a much better job. 2K is the only other publication doing sports matches at this scale, and they arguably have an even more predatory MTX system roasted even deeper in their NBA games. They also consistently release buggy & busted products, as seen with the buy Madden 21 coins WWE & PGA games.
That is frankly an issue with the entire industry of sport matches. The turnaround necessary to make a game every season is more unsustainable now than it ever was. MTX are being embraced by a large proportion of their playerbase, making it rather difficult for developers to justify not including them.View , this is the biggest issue here.
