Interested to know if anyone's in the beta along with your ideas on whether you'll use it and if you think that it'll be a success. Also, do you believe Jagex are prepared for the world of mobile that will be as susceptible to cheating as the normal game? I can only assume they're working to make sure people can not cheat but I can not observe all of their preventative steps functioning. I am personally looking forward to playing on the go. I think I could deal with the game in that capability, whereas sitting down and enjoying it just isn't my thing. Especially when there are so many different games to playwith.
This likely leads into more discussion about the portability and also together with the successes of this nintendo switch I can see why cellular are a fantastic way to get people interested. Although I do think if Jagex begin gearing Runescape towards mobile users you may see even more micro-transactions and casual gambling examples. I also think RS would be a vastly different cellular game than many - mechanics-wise and due to the truth that it originated online. I would assume far better performance would exist for people that play online, but maybe my mindset is overly narrow. I simply can't see myself risking my items going bossing or PVPing.
There is also the"wait 10 seconds upon logout" thing that to me could feel sort of weird on cellular telephone. Most mobile games that you can just exit from and restart later if you have to go do something real fast. If you are fighting a monster you need to wait till it dies, then escape this aggro area, then wait 10 minutes to flaunt. It is a little annoyance, but it could make all PVM/PVP utilizes on cellular enormously different than any other mobile game. I really don't know how many players would respond to that.
