The board has asked teachers to double-evaluate many answer sheets. Earlier, the daily target was set on 22 answer sheets. Now teachers have been given a target of checking 35 answer sheets every day.
"The answer sheets are small, and so the total number of copies to be checked has been doubled," said the center superintendent of an evaluation centre.
The board has not shared any official date for the release of the Term 2 results, however it is expected that the results will not be released before July.
CBSE Class 10th Term 2 Board Exam will end on May 24, 2022. All the major optional subject exams have already been conducted. CBSE Class 10 Hindi as well as other language papers along with some vocational subject exams are pending and will be completed by next week.
Let us tell you, looking at the pace of evaluation, it is being speculated that CBSE will release the results within 20 days after the exam is over. The board has been able to declare the results almost a month in advance. However, this time the aim is to further reduce the time and declare the result early.
A CBSE official (on condition of anonymity) shared that the board is working towards releasing the class 10 and 12 results by the end of June or the first week of July. While the end of June is a bit impossible for class 12, class 10 is conceivable and is being considered.
