According to Tsgpc Help Canon IX 6820 and Ip 8720 share the same system. One sole feature in the IP model is the gray color. It makes the image depth far better than that. What is additional?
Print Quality
Well, we are starting with the printing output. The text and graphics for the cake are good but not regular. The images in icing pages were grainy.
We prefer this for a light-themed cake design. The dark theme will not effort acceptably. A bit of a streak was noticeable in some backgrounds. Overall, the quality was good for us. If you get a decent one at this price, better choice that.
Speed
Far better than G3200. IP8720 took 55 seconds to print 4 by 6 pictures on icing sheets. It is far improved than some other competitors like Epson and Brother. They shared the less speed for this size.
We too liked the connectivity speed. One object we saw is: this model lags with windows 7 and vista. Windows 10 and Mac work quickly with it.
