Bearing e-commerce under "Internet+" mode

Under the "Internet+" background, how will bearing industry complete enterprise transformation and upgrading through Internet? On the just-held national bearing e-commerce forum on June 11, WANG Shaojun, the founder of Mrobay gave a speech with the title of "The imperative bearing e-commerce" on the "2015 Mrobay China • Beijing E-commerce Promotion of Bearing Circulation Industry", on which he analyzed the exsited problem in bearing industry and pointed out the development orientation.

Inventory overstocking is a tumour in bearing housing industry

。 Since the 2008 Financial Crisis, economy in domestic and abroad was experiencing recession, China was also impacted by this crisis and slowed down its economy development, the industrial manufacturing industry became the harder-hit area. Bearing manufacturing, as one of the important parts of manufacturing industry, was impacted more seriously with the features of overstocking, asymmetric information, over capacity, demand destruction, sharp drop in exports, slow payment, production halts, difficult operation etc. In addition, enterprise labor cost, marketing cost, travel expense, entertainment expense, rent fee are all constantly increased; fake good in bearing industry was flooding, which seriously impacted the market operation order; acceptance draft was widespread, hard for finance and loan, and industrial capital was in an emergency; large inventory backlog of products became a tumour in this industry.

Not "Internet + Bearing", but "Bearing + Internet"

The internet and e-commerce are developing fast and have had increasing importance in the national economy. On the sessions of the NPC and CPPCC, LI Keqiang, China's Prime Minister, proposed to "draw up Internet+ action plan to promote the healthy development of e-commerce, industrial internet and internet finance."

Currently the annual turnout of the civilian product carrier roller manufacturers including Taobao, Tmall, JingDong is over trillion dollars, marking the maturity of this industry from a technical standpoint. E-commerce includes different modes such as B2B, B2C, C2C etc. The former two are mainly used for civilian products, while for bearing industry, B2B mode is the proper way as bearing transactions are mostly dealt among enterprises. According to different operation modes, B2B is divided into self-support like Cogobuy and platform like Alibaba, which have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Compared with civilian goods e-commerce suppliers, so far the domestic bearing e-commerce still maintains in the 1.0 stage for just delivering messages and ads, and the way to gain profits is from the VIP fee and ads fees, while online trading cannot be made as the website does not have payment function. Bearing e-commerce urgently needs upgrading for development.

Why is it so slow for bearing e-commerce development? There are three main reasons: 1) The particularity of bearing products is different from civilian products as they have many parameters with very high technical content; 2) The particularity of bearing industry needs those who have industrial knowledge and experience, while the insiders are not willing to change the present situation in this industry.
