Govind Pashu Vihar National Park, where the entire walk takes place, is one national park with varying terrain based on altitude. Sankri, which is at a height of 6455 feet, is the starting point for the trip to the Kedarkantha top (located at a height of 12,500 ft.)
The Kedarkantha hiking begins with a sharp incline that lasts for a short distance before easing off.
The Kedarkantha trip path has a number of tiny streams, and the ground can occasionally get slick and muddy.
There are some rough areas in the landscape as well, and you might run into various stones that serve as way markers. The steepest and most time-consuming ascent is the final km before the peak.
