What is ISO?

The current chairman of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is Ulrika Francke, who has been selected as ISO president for a two-year term. Among the various ISO standards available, some of the most popular ones are ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 27001 for information security management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, and many others. Until 1926, the ISO was erstwhile known as the International Federation of National Standardization of Association (ISA).
