Semester break - the time between semesters
The semester break is the time between the end of the lecture and the beginning of the semester. The duration of the semester break is about 2 ½ months, whereby the holidays after the summer semester are a bit longer than the holidays after the winter semester Most universities and technical colleges also offer smaller holidays of one week duration, such as Easter, Whitsun, or Christmas holidays, but these regulations vary greatly from one university to another.
