Currently, the FDA has approved 14 ADC drugs for marketing, and hundreds more are in clinical trials.
The drug molecules with coumarin and its derivatives as the basic skeleton have a wide range of biological activities, such as antioxidant, anticoagulant, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic, anticancer and neuroprotective, which makes coumarins attractive for further optimization as novel drug templates. So far, there are more than 35 clinical stage and marketed drugs containing coumarin.
Session Description
Nucleic acids including DNA and RNA contain over 150 noncanonical nucleosides. Among these epigenetically modified nucleosides, many are sensitive to conditions used by the existing DNA/RNA synthesis technologies. Therefore, nucleic acids containing sensitive modified nucleosides are currently inaccessible via synthetic chemistry or highly challenging.
