What is a Valve ?

Ball valves comprise a valve body, a valve element in the form of a ball, and an actuator that controls the position of the valve element. The ball-shaped component is turned 90 degrees when the valve is open to let fluid pass through the valve. The ball-shaped piece rotates back to its initial position when the valve is closed, stopping the flow of fluid.
