I've got Nick Chubb as the third-best running back in Madden 23

The running back position is full of talent, therefore the next two players would practically be interchangeable in the rankings. I've got Nick Chubb as the third-best running back in Mut 23 coins (although it's understandable to believe a guy like Dalvin Cook or Christian McCaffrey belongs here). Chubb began playing in 2018 and has since been a force to reckon with. He's one of the most frequent rushers in football He's surpassed the 1.000-yard mark for three consecutive seasons he's been a starter.

The last time he was on the field, he took part in 14 games, and rushed for 1.259 yards with 8 touchdowns. In the previous year He racked up 1.067 yards and 12 touchdowns. The best year he had was probably in the year of 2019 (1.495 yards, eight touchdowns). But it's important not to concentrate too much on the numbers with Chubb since he's had to spend time with an extremely talented backfield which includes the likes of Kareem Hunt as well as D'Ernest Johnson. For a better understanding for his production one must consider yards per carries.

The 2021 season saw Chubb was a runner who averaged 5.5 yards per carry. This was the same as Jonathan Taylor, although on 100 fewer carries. Still, he had the second highest yard per carry standard when considering running backs who have more than 200 attempts. So while Chubb may not receive the same number of opportunities as some of the upper class of running backs but He's as efficient in comparison to them when given the chance. It's equally important to understand that he's putting up these kinds of numbers without a legitimate passing game.

As I mentioned, Nick Chubb and Dalvin Cook are both extremely close with respect to talent and production. That's why I'm predicting both coming into Madden 23 with an equally high rating. There's no denying Cook is as talented as they come, but his biggest question mark has been his health. Cook hasn't played for all of a season. In reality, EA doesn't really penalize players for injury with regard to ratings.

When healthy, Dalvin Cook has proven to be among the greatest. He's averaged over 4.5 yards per carry every season during his playing career. And even though he played in only 13 games in the last season, he still tallied 249 carries to gain 1.159 yards, and 6 touchdowns. In 2020. he played in 14 games, but rushed 312 times for 1.557 yards as well as 16 touchdowns. In other words, he's put higher numbers than many running backs, even when being absent from games.

Remember that total yards per run statistic? In 2021. he achieved an average 4.7 yards per carrying which when you factor in more than 200 runs, places him in the same league as Nick Chubb and Jonathan Taylor. Dalvin Cook's rating didn't change significantly throughout the course of last season. He received a slight boost to a 96 overall score but ended up with a 95 overall rating in Madden 22. I believe he will start Madden 23 in the same place, in the same league as Nick Chubb.

With the hiring of a new head coach it is going to be interesting to see how the Vikings utilize Cook not just in the run game with madden 23 coins cheap, but also in the passing game too. Cook had 34 receptions last year this year, which is a figure that may increase depending on the game plan.
