Gmail is one of the most popular email services in the world and millions of people use it every day to communicate and stay connected. However, forgetting your Gmail password can be frustrating, especially if you use your Gmail account to access other services like YouTube, Google Drive, and Google Play.

If you are one of the many people who have forgotten their Gmail password, don't panic. Here's how to reset your Gmail password and regain access to your account.

Step 1: Visit the Google Account Recovery page

The first step to resetting your Gmail password is to visit the Google Account Recovery page. You can access this by clicking "Having trouble signing in?" on the Gmail sign-in page.

Step 2: Enter your email ID

On the account recovery page, enter your registered email ID that you use to sign in to Gmail and click Next.

Step 3: Confirm your identity

Google will then ask you to confirm your identity. You can receive a verification code via SMS or call to your registered phone number. Alternatively, you can answer some security questions to verify your identity.

Step 4: Reset your password

Once you confirm your identity, you will be redirected to the password reset page. Here you can set a new password for your Gmail account.

Remember to choose a strong password that is difficult to guess and contains a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols.

Step 5: Sign in to Gmail again

Once you've reset your password, you can log in to Gmail again with your new password.
