• First of all, go to the Settings tab and select Char of Accounts.
• Now find out the account for which you have created the journal entry followed by the account history.
• After that look, for the journal entry in the account register.
• You will see a journal word there like Ref no. or type column.

QuickBooks Desktop:

• First, go to the company menu.
• Then select Create General Journal.
