How can I change the legal name in GST?

With GST core field amendments, change in legal name is possible. For Amendment of Core Fields, one has to follow below mentioned steps:

• Login to the portal: https://www.gst.gov.in

• Go to User Services

• Make changes

• Submission of Documents

• Submit and wait for approval

After due verification, the application can either be approved or rejected. On approval, the details will be updated accordingly in the system and the registration details will stand amended.
