Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University a.k.a Garhwal University. Established in 1973 in Srinagar, Uttarakhand in Northern India, it is a Central University. It is named after Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna (former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh). The university is residential cum affiliating with sovereignty over the Garhwal region. This is a central university, approved by University Grants Commission (U.G.C.). It further intakes via an examination that includes Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main), C.A.T., and M.A.T. Moreover, the university is ranking as A Graded with a CGPA of 3.11 under the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
