If you are in a group, the other members have to be in a position to be able to access the floor as well.
Complexity is the determining factor in the number of abilities you have available. Higher complexity is better, because the less complex your Dungeon is, the higher your XP gained from Dungeoneering is diminished. You can only gain full XP on Complexity 6.
Size, of course, alters it's... dimensions that the Dungeon is. Dungeons are made with small (4x4 grid) small (4x4 grid), (4x8 grid) as well as big (8x8 grid) sizes. The maximum dimensions for each of the sizes are 16 rooms for small maps as well as 32 rooms in medium and 64 rooms for larger. If you have more than 3 persons in a party it will be necessary to take on large dungeons in contrast, small and medium dungeons will be offered for parties of 3 or less.
