CBSE full form is the Central Board of Secondary Education. It is an Indian national education board. It oversees private and public schools under government care. All affiliated schools are required to adopt the NCERT curriculum. The role of CBSE is to provide guidelines for proper academics in schools. Nidhi Chibber, IAS, is the current CBSE Chairman. The Board is also responsible for conducting national-scale examinations for students in classes 10 and 12 every year.

Overview of CBSE Board
Established in 1929, it aims to support and coordinate secondary education nationwide and to provide students with a stress-free learning environment. The first thing students need to know is the CBSE full form. It stands for Central Board of Secondary Education. In 1921, the Uttar Pradesh high school and secondary school board were the first educational institutions established in India under Rajputana, Central India, and Gwalior. Later in 1929, the government formed a joint body that eventually came to be known as CBSE in 1952.

It was reconstituted on July 1, 1962, to extend its services to students and educational institutions nationwide. CBSE has approximately 26,054 affiliated schools in India and 240 in 28 foreign countries. All CBSE-affiliated schools follow the NCERT curriculum. The CBSE’s main objectives were to serve educational institutions better and be responsive to student’s needs, especially those whose parents had transferable jobs in the central government. Maintaining uniformity in academics across Indian schools is a key goal. They introduced All India Board exams for Std 10th and 12th, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation system.."
