ArsTechnica offers more information about the letter that goes on to affirm that "Blizzard is not authorized andin fact explicitly prohibits any of the activities mentioned."

In a post to accompany the announcement which is now the replacement for the Felmyst website and forums, Gummy52 said the server was the culmination of four years of hard work. Gummy52 also said that a muscular dystrophy condition prevents him from leaving the country in search of "an alternative method of hosting servers."
A large part of the problem appears to be the amount of players who've suddenly begun to show interest in the older server. The plan was to have a small community of players who play a classic version the game, but this was not possible.
