Title basically, I am wondering if anybody can provide proper "guide" on how to achieve this and back it up by evidence.
From what I conclude it is better to let Lightning Flash get both hits in, since it does more damage then a Flicker, people would argue that flicker can procc a Blade Echo, which makes it deal more damage, but I'd then argue that Blade Echo also requires an additional "cast" for it to do damage, which is then the same as casting Flicker, except it costs no Focus.
Generally Speaking: (numbers represent damage coefficients)
Lightning Flash deals 9x damage per cast, split over 2 attacks, so 4.5 each. On the other hand Flicker does 3x per attack, so by logic we'd want to get as many Lightning Flashes as possible, so you do not really wanna cancel the second attack.
Is it maybe that our F cancles our LMB then? I don't know?
Also, the wording of "Readies Blade Echo on Lightning Flash, Flash Step" on flicker confuses me, it should be written on those spells instead, no? IDK, but I've not seen Blade Echo being usable after those abilities, only on Flicker Crit.
And lastly... if we use LMB to cancle F, but we don't have F until we get a procc, it really makes it hard to do it optimally, since you want to use the "procc skill" and cancle with "spammable skill" which makes you basically Mash F like a tard and use LMB only when you need to cancle, but without LMB you don't get any F's so you are wasting time, if you spam LMB, then you end up cancling prematurely.
EDIT: We'd basically need to mash/spam LMB, until we get a proc (which is often) then quickly stop and instead mash F with LMB in between the two, without cancling the last hit, and when procs are done continue to mash LMB until we get proc again. This is really hard to do optimally
