In 1992, the founder started trading and light processing chemical fibres such as polypropylene, nylon and polyester for socks. Yarns supply highly relied on imports at that time, while hard to satisfy the needs of the market. The development of the local hosiery industry created a progressively increasing demand for raw materials. In 1999, China had the nylon 6 production localized, ending the strong dependency on imported raw material. The downstream use of chemical fibre starts a diversified development. This year, Derun invested yarn texturing machine to process nylon 6 yarn.
