On one tape, Frank mentioned a birthday he'd recently attended which was given by his best friend Max. No other details were supplied except that the party was for Max's girlfriend. Since Max's wife, Wendy was a friend of mine, I told her what I heard. Working one single piece of information, Wendy conducted what I consider to be a masterpiece of detective work.

A web directory is an internet web site devoted entirely to collecting information about other sites. A business directory limits itself to business web sites only. These directories, and there are thousands of them, assign each site a small plot of virtual real estate on their site that will contain a brief description, a link to the site, and possibly a screen shot image of the site's home page. All of this information is then organized into a database that can be searched by category, name, or sometimes even geographic location or region.
