Wonder Woman will hit theaters in Brazil on June 1, 2017, when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the action-adventure epic directed by Patty Jenkins ("Monster: Desire Assassin," AMC series "The Killing "). Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine ("Star Trek"), Connie Nielsen ("The Following", "Gladiator"), Robin Wright ("Millennium: Men Who Did not Like Women"), ("Harry Potter", "The Theory of Everything"), Danny Huston ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine"), Elena Anaya (" The Skin that I Live "), Ewen Bremner (" Exodus: Gods and Kings "," Express of Tomorrow "), and Saïd Taghmaoui (" Cheating ").
Before becoming Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an invincible warrior. Built on a secluded island paradise, Diana discovers that a major conflict plagues the world when an American pilot falls with her plane on the sands of the coast. Convinced that she is capable of overcoming the threat of destruction, Diana leaves the island. Fighting side by side with men in a war that aims to end all wars, she will discover all her powers ... and her true destiny.
Patty Jenkins directs the feature from the screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns & Patty Jenkins, the story of Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg, based on DC Entertainment characters. Wonder Woman is a creation by William Moulton Marston.
The film is produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Rebecca Roven, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller and Geoff Johns as Executive Producers.
