If you polled the vast majority of EVE Online players on the first day of 2019 asking them whether they would anticipate an almost entirely new community group within a year, more frequently than not they likely wouldn't have believed it possible. However, that's almost exactly what occurred. When Svienn"CCP Guard" Kjarval abandoned CCP Games at March 2019, it left the EVE community fairly overpowering.
