What is the difference between laser printer and inkjet printer?

Laser printer and inkjet printer are the two most widely used printer types in our daily life and work. However, what is the difference between HP laser printer and inkjet printer?

Features of Laser printers

Laser printer originated from the late 80s Laser Phototypesetting Technology, popular in the mid 90s. It is a printout device combining laser scanning technology with electronic photography technology. The basic principle is that the binary data information transmitted by the computer is converted into video signal by the video controller, then the video signal is converted into laser driving signal by the video interface/control system, then the laser beam with character information is produced by the laser scanning system, and finally the laser beam is made by the electronic photography system. Imaging and transfer to paper. Compared with other printing equipment, laser printer has the advantages of fast printing speed and high imaging quality, but the cost of using is relatively high.

1. Laser printers, mainly used in small offices, are fast and accepted.
2. Laser all-in-one machine, mainly used in large and medium-sized offices, saving space.
3. Color laser printer, used in home and office, printing high quality photo class.

The most popular type of HP laser printer is: Hp Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw is one of the most commonly used models in offices, which compatible with hp 201x toner set. This model's features is wireless printing and can be printed without linking the company network.

Features of inkjet printer

Thermal inkjet technology uses a thin film resistor to heat less than 0.5% of the ink in the ink ejection area to form a bubble. The bubble expands at a very fast speed (less than 10 microseconds), forcing the droplets to spew from the nozzle. The bubble continues to grow for a few microseconds, and then goes back to the resistor. When the bubble is gone, the ink of the nozzle is retracted. Then the surface tension will generate suction, pull the new ink to add to the ink jet area. The thermal sensitive inkjet technology is constructed by such an integrated cycle technology program.

There are mainly two types of inkjet printers: continuous ink-jet technology and random inkjet technology.

As usual, inkjet printers need to be used with the matching ink, while Hp laser printers need to match corresponding drums and hp toner cartridge.
