RuneScape And May Do A Much Better Job

Mod Ash found the Largest Gold Farm in OSRS

Rev Caves are ruining OSRS in more than 1 way. Quality of PKing was destroyed, the amount of gold being brought into RuneScape and sold is from control.I still do not know why the revs have been voted to maintain one fucking cave. Rather than concentrating everyone into a single fucking cave roaming revs would spread people throughout the wilderness, including pkers. We voted in rev caves and literally voted to nerf the cave of nieve. Everybody wants everything to be without thinking of any long-term consequences, efficient.

Several additions that were terrible have been suggested by jagex but so have we. And we have voted in certain terrible content which should have never seen the mild day. I wish the voting system acted more as a powerful suggestion to jagex for exactly what we wanted and not the end all be all decision maker (minus a few very specific occasions jagex overruled it). Of course the problem is that you take a good portion of the fans cry about it and that approach. I agree that fans shouldn't be the arbiters of what makes it in to RuneScape, but tons of OSRS feel entitled to that power.

They feel like that because Jagex gave power to them. A massive supervision IMHO. Jagex must have under control their IP. I enjoy the idea of having a powerful influence by players and fans because Jagex would otherwise end up generating Old School RuneScape 3 (with MTX and Evolution of Combat back ): Jagex gave themselves the capability to utilize a time machine and remade items without falling into the same traps and mistakes. This does not mean that they can do so on their own. People in the company change. Shareholders are greedy. Managers want luxurious cars and profit. Providing too much power to a bunch - most of them don't even know what's having a serious job -.

The issue with the voting system is it allows players with zero knowledge of RuneScape to vote about issues and issues that impact the game. It's a fantastic idea in principle, but in order for it to function Jagex needs to be transparent on the advantages and disadvantages of voting either way and ramifications. They can't continue to put up polls with no context. Too many noobs are like"oh that sounds cool" without understanding what they are actually voting for.

I can not stand the stance that streamers take when they tell their audiences"vote for anything you want". Yes, players should vote however they see fit, as long as their vote is still an educated vote. I am not saying streamers should be advertising the vote that they favor, but streamers are generally very knowledgeable about RuneScape and could do a much better job on at least helping to educate their viewers on the recent surveys and the potential side effects of the votes without persuading viewers to vote a specific way. Do not get me wrong, it's definitely Jagex's task if that void could fill, but until Jagex gets their shit together it would certainly help.
