The launch of the 2021 product line by Kaspersky reached European shores with the launch of Kaspersky Antivirus Key
2021, Kaspersky Total Security 2021 and Kaspersky Security Cloud 2021 Free.
There are some notable new features, including major improvements to the stalkerware detection tool for Internet Security and Total Security, as well as access to the free version of Kaspersky Password Manager in cheaper packages. Security Cloud users also get automatic scans of potentially compromised online accounts, while Kaspersky's recently released VPN component receives a major overhaul of the user interface and a more efficient login process.
The most important feature of Kaspersky 2021 is protection against "stalkerware" on Windows PCs. The feature has been redesigned since its introduction last year. Enhanced detection comes with a new warning dialog that not only warns the user, but also gives the user the option to remove, ignore, or whitelist the tool.
The Security Cloud account verification feature has been updated to automatically analyze submitted email addresses to determine if they have been compromised by online attacks. To support this step, the free version of Kaspersky Password Manager has been added to the Internet Security and AntiVirus suites.
Kaspersky has also updated its free basic version of its Security Cloud suite. This provides basic protection against malware on all your devices, as well as access to the free versions of Kaspersky Password Manager and Kaspersky Secure VPN.
Additionally, the application has been redesigned to speed up the login process and facilitate access to the fastest server available for the currently selected country. It also ensures that the connection is made as soon as a location is selected, eliminating the need for the "activate" button to slow things down.
Users can now download Kaspersky Internet Security 2021, Kaspersky Total Security 2021 and Kaspersky Security Cloud 2021 for PC, Mac and mobile devices for free. Users with existing subscriptions can upgrade for free, while the Bzfuture Store offers two-year subscriptions at a deep discount. The Kaspersky offer applies to EU customers.
